Tremor Hits Badreh, No Damages Reported

ILAM An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the open-ended Richter scale jolted Badreh district in Ilam Province on Monday.
The Kermanshah seismic base affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of the Tehran University put the epicenter of the quake at 140 kilometers south of the base. The tremor occurred in 06:22 local time.
No damages have been inflicted as the result of the tremor. Badreh district, 100 kilometers south of provincial capital city Ilam, is home to a 15,000-strong population.
